Mistra TerraClean researchers Aji Mathew (Stockholm University) and Ulrica Edlund (KTH), together with Tekla Tammelin (VTT, Finland) and Andreas Mautner (BOKU, Austria) organized and hosted the ‘Cellulose and Other Carbohydrate Materials for Water and Air Purification’ symposium at ACS American Chemical Society Spring on March 17–21, 2024. The full-day symposium covered many aspects of materials science for water purification and attracted speakers and an audience from across the globe.
